OUR STORY
In early 2016, I launched my business from my home. But, my love for selling began when I was a little girl when I would help my grandmother sell at flea markets in El Paso, Texas. Although, I grew up here locally in the heart of the harbor in Wilmington, Ca., I moved to San Pedro, Ca when my husband and I married in 1992. As a kid I spent my summers in Cd. Juarez, Mexico (border town across form El Paso, Texas) and Farmersville, California in the San Joaquin Valley.

I loved spending the summers with both my grandmothers, it was either a hot summer in Farmersville or a hot summer in Juarez. Honestly, it was the best of both worlds. I was constantly surrounded by food and clothing vendors in El Centro (downtown) Juarez, the flea markets in El Paso, and the small town where they had family owned grocery stores, boutiques and frosty’s. I fell in love with both walks of life, and so the seed was planted.
Now a wife and mom of three beautiful daughters, I have been blessed to have been able to travel and visit so many cities. But, I always was attracted to the Mom & Pop stores and cute boutiques. After many years of direct sales and as my love for selling continued to grow, I then decided to take a leap of faith and open a boutique style shop in downtown San Pedro. A little something different, and so Rustic Charm and Petals opened its doors in May of 2018.

It is truly a dream come true to be able to have the opportunity to make flower arrangements for all occasions, and to also be able to provide many beautiful products that support other small businesses and women in business. I truly love bringing joy and fun to all of our participants in all of our workshops. I am so grateful to be able to bring groups of people together and to get to know each and every one of you as we teach you how to make floral arrangements and more.
